Hi, I'm Steve.

As a San Diego native, I was lucky enough to grow up next to the ocean, and as a surfer, felt a strong connection with nature at an early age. The movement and balance of water heavily inspires and influences my approach to design. I believe that the most effective designs reflect the rhythm and flow that can be found in the natural environment.

I truly believe a good landscape design starts with effective communication with clients. As the design process unfolds, my designs focus on how people move through the space, choosing beautiful materials that work well together, and creating outdoor rooms that connect people to each other and to their ecosystem.

I've had the opportunity to work for both commercial and high-end residential landscape architecture firms which helps me make informed design decisions on a wide variety of site conditions.

 

I've earned an Associates Degree from Cuyamaca College in Landscape Architecture as well as a Bachelors of Science Degree in Communications from Boston College. I'm an avid soccer player, hiker, mountain biker, and just started getting into adventure racing!
